Our Mission
Next Level ASD exists to help Organizations Create Spaces Where All Minds Can Thrive
How did it all begin?
Sarah Taylor, Founder and Principal Consultant at Next Level ASD Consulting, never imagined that a summer job in 1996 would ignite a lifelong passion for supporting the autism and neurodivergent community. As a college student, she reluctantly accepted a role working with children on the autism spectrum—an experience that would change the trajectory of her career.
Driven by a deep commitment to advocacy and inclusion, Sarah went on to train as a Psychometrist and Behavioural Consultant, dedicating 17 years to the Society for Treatment of Autism in Calgary, Canada. There, she refined her skills in assessment, consultation, and advocacy for individuals on the autism spectrum.
In 2014, Sarah transitioned from working with children and youth to leading employment initiatives for adults with autism. She played a pivotal role in designing and implementing a groundbreaking federally funded employment program, Spectrum Advantage, which provides support to neurodivergent job seekers and their employers. Under her leadership, Spectrum Advantage became one of Canada’s most successful programs of its kind, earning national recognition.
Through her work, Sarah realized that far too many neurodivergent adults were struggling in the workplace without the right supports—and that the need for employer education and workplace inclusion strategies extended far beyond the scope of existing programs. Out of this need, Next Level ASD Consulting was born.
Today, Sarah leverages her decades of experience to help businesses, HR teams, career development professionals, and faith-based organizations develop policies, procedures, training, and workplace strategies that foster true neuroinclusion. Her expertise provides organizations with practical, actionable solutions to create environments where neurodivergent individuals don’t just get hired—they thrive.
