Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a title used to describe an 'invisible disability'. More often than not, people living on the spectrum attempt to hide the diagnosis from employers and co-workers fearing the stigma of popular opinion. Unfortunately, the nature of the condition makes it hard to hide, and even if a person does disclose that they have this type of disability, most managers, supervisors and HR personnel have no idea how to make appropriate accommodations.
